FAQ’s about a dual study program at itmX
We are currently training one dual student of Business Informatics – Sales and Consulting (m/f/d) per year.
As soon as we have advertised the position, usually in August, one year before the start of your studies, you can apply. There is no deadline. Once we have successfully filled the position, you will no longer find it on our job board.
Your application should consist of a letter of motivation/cover letter, your CV and at least your last two certificates. You should highlight relevant experiences that you have already gained with IT, e.g. your own programmed apps, self-designed websites, etc.

The dual study program usually begins in October with a theoretical phase at the DHBW. We start in September so that you can get to know our team before the theory phase begins.

DHBW Karlsruhe
Together with the DHBW Karlsruhe, itmX trains students in the field of business informatics with a focus on sales and consulting. The course lasts three years and alternates between theory and practical phases.
Hochschule Pforzheim
Together with professors from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, we have created some project ideas that a group of students will spend a semester working on and presenting their results.
Netzwerk IT & Medien
We are a partner in the IT & Media Network, which strengthens the performance and image of the region as an IT and media location through various measures and activities and ensures networking.
