🕑 5 p.m. – Daily Email Check

It’s 5 p.m., and quite a few emails have landed in my inbox throughout the day. What really helps is that Outlook now shows the relevant CRM data right next to each email. I immediately see who the sender is, what opportunities or tickets are connected, and where we left off. This makes it quick and easy to check emails into the CRM without having to switch tools – a real timesaver.

🕑 Did I Miss Any Important Follow-up Tasks?

Before calling it a day, I like to check whether there’s anything urgent I might have missed. Every evening, I receive a short email summary from the CRM showing my overdue and upcoming tasks. It gives me a clear picture of what still needs attention. If I want to dive deeper, I can jump straight from the email into the CRM. Thanks to this feature, I never miss important deadlines.

🕑 What Do My Important KPIs Currently Look Like?

Before planning tomorrow, I like to get a quick snapshot of where I stand. Whether it’s my overall sales performance or KPIs for specific customers I’ll be visiting, I can find all of it right inside the CRM. The reporting is fully integrated – whether we use SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Qlik Sense. Since all data comes directly from SAP and is easy to read, I save valuable time every day.

🕑 Planning My Customer Visits

Now that I’ve reviewed my data, it’s time to plan tomorrow’s meetings. Some customer visits are already scheduled, but I still have free time slots. I call Jessica Red, who recently asked for a meeting, and we agree to meet at 1 p.m. The calendar integration makes it easy to block the slot right away – quick, smooth, and efficient.

🕑 5:30 p.m. – What Do I Need to Know About the Customer?

To prepare for tomorrow’s visit, I use the new browser-based CRM. It gives me everything I need at a glance: recent interactions, open issues, and even auto-translations of visit reports written by colleagues abroad. Best of all, it’s fast – and works just as well on my tablet or phone. That makes mobile preparation much easier.

The Next Day

🕑 9 a.m. – Managing My Pipeline

It’s the next day and just in time, I make it to my meeting with the sales manager. Together, we go through my pipeline and review open opportunities. Thanks to the CRM, this process is much more efficient than before. I especially like the Kanban view and the option to edit data directly in place – no clicking through endless screens. It helps me stay on top of everything and focus on what really drives revenue.
