SAP assures CS functionality under S/4HANA in the Compatibility Pack until the end of 2030

Good news from Walldorf! SAP has announced that it has extended the Compatibility Pack usage rights for the Customer Service (CS), Transportation (SAP LE/LES) and Production Planning (PP/MPR) components of SAP Business Suite. From 2025 to 2030.

The Compatibility Packs are designed to ease customers’ transition from SAP ERP / Business Suite to S/4HANA and represent an S/4HANA-compatible copy of the “classic” software product.

By assuring the rights of use for the above-mentioned solution functionalities, SAP gives all users more time to innovate their business processes.

Customers of the itmX crm suite also benefit from this decision: the established and standardized processes in the SAP CS module can be used for longer. If a switch to S/4HANA is imminent, this component can therefore be considered secondary at first and the changeover of the service processes can be carried out in peace and quiet.
